The sound of fireworks might still be ringing in our ears from New Years Eve, but we’re gearing up to see sparks of an entirely different kind fly on Thursday, January 10th when First Dates returns to RTÉ2 for a brand new series.
That’s right. New episodes! New daters! And even a new staff member! With so much romance, drama and excitement headed this way, the First Dates restaurant has brought in some extra hands to handle the heat! This year, the lovely Libby will be joining Mateo, Ethan, Alice and Pete as they serve up the love. We can’t wait to see her in action.
It’ll be all hands on deck! We’re in for a rollicking new series, chock-full of a whole assortment of singletons in search of love. We’re set to see our first mother-daughter double dating duo, Amy and Delia, as they look for a double serving of love. We’ll even see some familiar faces as former Tallafornia star Phil Penny returns to make amends for some ahem, faux pas made on his last visit to the restaurant. Everyone arrives in the hope of meeting their perfect match, but as fans of the show will know by now, the course of true love never does run smooth.
So spread the word, put the champaign on ice and get yourself ready: Thursday, January 10th at 9.30pm is date night. First Dates returns to RTÉ2 with one seriously exciting new series!
