WHO IS WHO?
Stuart swapped his suit for jeans in 1990 and hasn’t looked back. He now acts as an Executive Producer at COCO while he beavers away dreaming up new ways to finance productions. Like many in the media business he thinks he is a bit of a guru, and has just finished a five year term as a non executive director on the board of the national broadcaster RTÉ. Missing the acclaim he has just joined the Board of Screen Producers Ireland.
HEAD OF TELEVISION
Linda's been doing this TV thing a long time but loves it. She started as a runner, found her way to camera, then directed and wrote for over a decade, before finding her true vocation, COCO! A committed programme maker, she steers, develops and execs much of COCO's production. She likes nothing more than a new challenge and is co-owner of COCO along with Stuart & Paul (a challenge in itself).
Paul describes himself a reluctant businessman and creative dilettante. Over the past 30 years he has been involved in launching, building & acquiring over 60 businesses in the fields of publishing, television production, web design, advertising, film production and film distribution. These include Target Media Group and Optimum Releasing (now Studio Canal UK) – built from scratch into one of the UK’s leading independent film distributors.
After 16 years working in London for leading TV and Media companies, IMG, ITV, Mentorn and Renegade Pictures, Mary returned home and joined COCO. Mary is responsible for all production and management accounts, business affairs and contracts. She takes the fear out of finance. Mary is also a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the lunchtime delicacies that Ranelagh has to offer.
Jane found love mixing telly making with houses. Whether the houses were cluttered (Desperate Houses) or for sale (Househunters), in need of a redesign (Room To Improve) or just badly haunted (NI’s Greatest Haunts). Jane just loves houses. She prides herself on the fact that she has recce’d every house in Ireland.
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
Anna started work in COCO Television in 2012. She oversees the development of new productions. Anna also occasionally series produces and executive produces when the mood takes her. She likes the company and thinks the company likes her.
Angela joined COCO Television in 2005; the company hasn’t been the same since. Angela manages the office here at COCO towers; from the boardroom to the stationery cupboard Angela knows every nook and cranny. When you call us, it's Angela's voice you'll more than likely hear.
Growing up Hilary wanted nothing more than to run away with the circus. She actually ended up in television - a seasoned producer whose passion lies in identifying and crafting great narratives. She loves what she does and is 100% dedicated to every project she works on. Today she feels lucky that the circus thing didn’t work out.
SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCER
Franky wanted to work in TV since he got his hands on the family camcorder at the age of 8. A few embarrassing home videos later, he has married his passion for telly with all things digital and social. He was once introduced with the line “This is Franky, he’s good at Snapchat”. Enough said.
